# Checkend documentation

> Install Checkend, add a site, connect your agent, and measure each change that your agent makes.

Checkend is open-source web analytics that your agent can read, act on, and learn from. It runs on
your server: one binary, one data folder. It has no AI inside. You bring the agent.

> **Note: Not released yet**
> Checkend is not released yet. The install commands in these docs use placeholders, for example
> `[INSTALL_URL]`.

## Start here

- [Quickstart](/docs/start/quickstart.md): From an empty server to the first answer of your agent.
- [Install](/docs/start/install.md): The installer, Docker, automatic TLS, a reverse proxy, an offline install.
- [Add a site](/docs/start/add-a-site.md): The install prompt, the script tag and the install check.
- [Connect your agent](/docs/start/connect-your-agent.md): MCP with OAuth, API tokens, ce login and ce mcp.

## Understand Checkend

- [The closed loop](/docs/concepts/closed-loop.md): Findings, changes, measured outcomes and the brief.
- [Privacy modes](/docs/concepts/privacy.md): Strict, standard and extended: what Checkend keeps.

## Reference

- [CLI](/docs/reference/cli.md): Each ce command, with its flags and examples.
- [MCP tools](/docs/reference/mcp-tools.md): The tools and prompts of the MCP server.
- [REST API](/docs/reference/rest-api.md): Each endpoint, its access and its fields.

## For agents

The docs are also plain text for agents:

- Each page has a Markdown form at its address plus `.md`, for example
  [/docs/start/install.md](/docs/start/install.md).
- [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) is the index of all pages. [/llms-full.txt](/llms-full.txt) has all
  pages in one file.
- A task page has a **Copy as prompt** button. Paste the prompt into your coding agent.
